Today’s progress on the rocket: finished up the wiring for the altimeter, and tested the pyro channels. Instead of plastic terminal blocks as I’ve used in the past, I’ve built this av-bay with pairs of #4 machine screws fastened through the bulkheads to act as connectors for ejection charges. When I prepare charges, I’ll crimp small ring terminals onto the wires, and I think I’ll get more secure connections. As I mention in the video, I won’t be able to use quicklinks to attach cords to the eyebolts, since they could short out the terminals.
